HR Executive

ISG technology is an innovative UK based end-to-end IT services supplier with over 25 years experience in all aspects of
network infrastructure. With five offices in the UK and one in Sofia, we offer our employees the ability to work for an
international company with some of the largest, most well-known companies in the world.

ISG needs a dynamic, self-motivated team player who likes to have fun while working, but is able to balance a variety of
responsibilities. ISG technology’s Sofia office is fast expanding and we are looking to develop our staff. You may be the
person we need!

Role:
Reporting into the HR Director, you will be responsible for the implementation of departmental policies and procedures for
Human Resources, Health and Safety and Payroll. You will support and guide line Managers on all generalist HR, H&S and
Payroll issues.

Position Outline/Duties:

• Providing advice and guidance to staff and management on issues relating to employee relations, performance
management, recruitment & selection and training & development.
• Keeping up to date with changes in employment law, equal opportunities and other associated legislation and applying
to HR advice, practice and policy.
• To fully understand and manipulate the computerised HR system (Empower Northgate) in order to continually improve
the effectiveness and efficiency of the department.
• Managing recruitment and selection activities, liaising with recruitment agencies, implementing and maintaining
applicant databases, organising and attending recruitment fairs and career days etc, assisting line management with
interviews as required, ensuring that practices are in accordance with relevant legislation and codes of best practice.
• Management of training and development matters including identifying training needs, developing appropriate training
plans, monitoring and reporting on all training undertaken.
• Managing payroll including notifications and amendments to Finance, ensuring that all relevant changes are processed
in a timely and efficient manner.
• Preparing 24/7 work schedules for the helpdesk in line with Bulgarian legislation.

You must:

• Be an excellent and fluent English speaker and writer.
• Strong generalist HR background with at least 3 years HR experience in a similar role.
• Ability to translate from Bulgarian to English and vice versa.
• Previous experience in payroll processing including preparation of 24/7 work schedules.

Valuable assets for the position:

• Ideally holding an HR qualification
• Sound employment law knowledge.
• Extensive knowledge of computerised HR systems.
• Excellent analytical, organization, interpersonal and communications skills - oral and written (EN & BG).
• Ability to work on own initiative and take the lead where necessary .
• The ability to demonstrate a decision-making ability to influence and resolve issues.
• Excellent IT literacy skills
